Exercise Bersama Shield 2025

Exercise Bersama Shield 2025 is an annual military exercise held in and around Butterworth Airbase, Malaysia. It provides an opportunity for the Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) partners to strengthen professional relationships and enhance interoperability in a high-end warfighting environment.

Approximately 800 military personnel from Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Kingdom will participate in the exercise, which runs from April 7 to 22. The exercise will feature seven surface ships and more than 30 aircraft conducting mock warfighting scenarios across the Malay Peninsula.
