HQIADS STAFF VISIT TO AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
Commander Integrated Area Defence System (CIADS) led a delegation of 16 personnel on the Australia and New Zealand Staff Visit 2025 from 3 to 19 November 2025, reinforcing the longstanding cooperation and professional exchanges among the Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) member nations.
The delegation comprised 11 staff from HQIADS and five representatives from Singapore and the Australian International Policy Division. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen defence ties, share perspectives on regional security issues, and deepen understanding of host-nation capabilities and strategic priorities.
During the visit, the delegation called on strategic headquarters locations, as well as key military establishments, including RAAF Edinburgh, Fleet Base East, Linton Military Camp, Devonport Naval Base and RNZAF Base Ohakea, gaining firsthand insight into operational capabilities and fostering professional exchanges with host-nation counterparts.
